I think that some calming music would help with this. I also would like to see more images that Zoey interacted with like the first puzzle with the Romeo and Juliet opening. Also a walk/run cycle for Zoey would be nice, but I can understand not quite getting to that during a jam.
Thank you for the feedback! The romeo and Juliet puzzle was definitely the one I put the most time into programming, which led to me not having as much time for the other puzzles, and I had a list of possible complicated puzzles for other stories.
Well, this is new. I'm not sure what to say, it was a different concept from anything I've ever seen, but creativity is always good! The zoey blinked a bit too much as the screen was moving, and felt a bit distracting... I couldn't quite read the passages properly since the font was way too big XD Interesting idea nonetheless, meow!
Yeah, this was my first time making a game that would have the background scroll, so some of my techniques were very amateur, and something that will get better as I do more game making. And this idea was definitely meant to be a very out of the box entry.
You got my imagination running. I like writing stories so I was thinking about how I would continue each line perhaps in different directions from the original works. Great Job!
